Community Zone returns to Pembrokeshire County Show

13th Jul 18

Voluntary and community groups across the County are gearing up to be a part of the Community Zone at next month’s Pembrokeshire County Show.

Organised by Pembrokeshire Association of Voluntary Services (PAVS), and supported by South Hook LNG Terminal, the Community Zone is a hive of activity throughout the three days of the Show, allowing visitors to access important information about a range of community-led services in the area.

From community transport and wellbeing projects to bereavement counselling and carers support, a range of organisations will be on hand to offer advice and guidance, whilst raising awareness of volunteering opportunities available in our County.

“PAVS is really excited to be bringing together so many different groups under one roof at the Show. We are really looking forward to having the chance to showcase all the wonderful things happening in Pembrokeshire,” commented Louise Wilkinson of PAVS.

The Community Zone will be home to various community and voluntary organisations either in part, or for the full three days of this year’s Pembrokeshire County Show (Tuesday 14 to Thursday 16th August 2018), including:
