Helping to keep our youngsters safe on the roads

Through the South Hook LNG Community Fund in partnership with PAVS, we are one of several organisations that has given support to the Friends of Pennar School, assisting them with the purchase of cycle helmets that will help children stay safe on the roads.

Pennar Community School encourages its pupils to either walk or cycle to school, promoting a healthier lifestyle and a healthier attitude amongst its youngsters. The school also educates the children on the importance of protecting their environment, by supporting green transportation and cutting fuel emissions.

Friends of Pennar School were keen to thank South Hook LNG and the other funders of the project: Pembroke Power Station and Milford Haven Port Authority, as well as thanking Bierspool Cycles, who provided the children’s helmets at cost.
