A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Buyer who will play a key role within our Procurement & Warehouse team and contribute to the success of the business by ensuring that all sourcing requirements are delivered in a compliant and timely manner whilst maintaining best practice purchasing principles at our Milford Haven terminal. Responsible for executing procurement procedures, you will perform a range of duties related to the procurement of maintenance services and materials, equipment and parts including Warehouse inventory. The successful candidate will liaise with all departments on commercial and technical matters. You will lead the tender and contract management process by preparing tenders, evaluating offers, negotiating terms & conditions as well as ensuring the contracts are managed correctly.
To be considered for this position you will ideally be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in procurement, supply chain, or engineering with experience in the procurement of engineering or related services, materials, equipment and spare parts. Knowledge and experience of SAP and CIPS/MCIPS qualifications are preferred, although not essential.
