We are looking for an Instrument & Controls Technician to join our highly skilled and efficient Maintenance Section within the Operations Department
You will provide technical support, carry out highly skilled preventative maintenance, calibration, repair and installation work on a variety of instrumentation systems and associated equipment. This will include flow, level, pressure, and temperature devices as well as control valves, analysers, fire and gas detection systems. You will also be responsible for maintenance on a distributed control system hardware (DCS).
To be considered for this position, you will have a recognised instrumentation craft apprenticeship and/or have extensive maintenance experience preferably in oil & gas/petrochemicals Industries. Ideally you will have a working knowledge of functional safety systems and equipment, DCS, Programmable Logic Control equipment. Some experience of telecommunications systems would also be an advantage.
