We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join our highly skilled and efficient Maintenance Section within the Operations Department
You will provide technical support, assistance and direction for associated mechanical personnel and carry out a range of the highly skilled Preventive Maintenance, overhaul and repair of plant and various types of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, fans and static equipment such as heat exchangers and valves. This will include regular monitoring of equipment, disassembly, repair and reassembly of equipment, as well as plant modifications.
To be considered for this position, you should have completed a recognised apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline and/or have extensive maintenance experience (including rotating equipment), preferably in oil & gas/petrochemicals Industries. You will need to possess excellent communication skills and you should also possess leadership qualities to support, drive and direct personnel.
