Re: South Hook: Phase 2 Flaring
Following on from my recent correspondence to you, dated 11 January 2010, I am pleased to take this opportunity, to provide you with a further update on the status of the commissioning work at our South Hook Terminal.
You may recall, from my earlier correspondence, our Terminal has been built in two phases. We completed the commissioning of Phase 1 back in October last year and have, since that time, been working hard to complete the commissioning of Phase 2 equipments.
As we are in the final stage of commissioning the Phase 2 equipments of our Terminal, we will need to undertake some minimal flaring, which is a normal and necessary process.
We expect to be flaring at our Terminal from 25th January for a number of weeks. We will ensure flaring is kept to the minimum required, to allow for safe commissioning.
