  Design Excellence
South Hook has placed great emphasis on designing and constructing a facility that is sympathetic to the surrounding landscape. For example, the LNG tanks are specifically short and squat in order to limit their visual impact from land and sea. Furthermore, large quantities of soil have been excavated to lower their height still further.
In addition to this, the tanks have been strategically positioned in such a fashion that their visual impact from the Milford Haven waterway is limited.

The excavated soil has been used to landscape the site and further conceal the tanks.

South Hook is keen to implement such measures to minimise its effects on the local landscape and communities.

Noise
South Hook is committed to limiting noise and is respectful of the views and needs of those living in the vicinity.
